Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use the site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to abide by them. 2. Making a contract with us
2.1 By placing an order through our site or by email you confirm that: you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; you are at least 18 years old.

2.2 When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy our service. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.

2.3 Once we have reviewed your order we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.

2.4 In the unlikely event that the goods, album covers or formats are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.

2.5 We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our designed layouts that we send it to you. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual pages.

2.6 We attempt to ensure that information on this web site is complete, accurate and current including data about the Product's and Service price, availability and photographs. We reserve the right to correct errors and/or update the content on our website at any time without notice. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled and you will receive a full refund.

2.7 This contract is covered by Scottish law.

2.8 By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy.

3. How to place an order
You can send your images using our online upload service or post them to us.
By uploading files you agree to hold all copyrights for the images.
Advance payment of £50 is required before the design process is started.
Typical design process is 5 days to finish 20 double pages as regular order (70 images).
We may charge you extra for more than 70 images per album.
Revision/proof process includes two rounds and is free of charge. After that we reserved the right to charge £10 per change.
You are responsible to carefully check every aspect of the layouts before final approval.
You take all responsibility for any errors in the layouts after final approval is agreed
As soon as the final changes are made and approved the album is sent to the print lab.
Final payment (less the deposit paid) is required before the project is sent for printing and binding.
Typical turnaround time from final proof agreement is 2-3 weeks.
Once your album order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date and any estimated dispatch date is an estimate, which can change without notice.
4. Delivery & Carriage Charges
4.1 We offer a 1-2 working days, tracked and signed delivery service for all products, but please allow up to 5 days
4.2 Time for delivery is given as accurately as possible but is not guaranteed.
4.3 UK Mainland delivery and Scotland charge at £15. Delivery to Wales, Northern Ireland charge at £30.
4.4 We ship nationwide in the UK excluding: Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland.
4.5 We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. You must be at home to accept delivery of your order, which is normally between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday.
If no-one is in to sign for the order, our courier will leave you a notification card. You must contact the courier to rearrange delivery. After two failed delivery attempts the goods may be returned to us and we reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge of £30
4.6 If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery.
4.7 Please check the goods on delivery - any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified immediately.
4.8 Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will try to put things right as soon as possible however we can’t be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.
5. Payments
5.1 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You are not entering credit card information directly on our website, but entering it directly on a payment processing company's website, such as PayPal. We are not transmitting or storing credit card information. Payment can be made by debit card through PayPal or direct bank transfer. Customer order number as a reference is required,once direct transfer is made.
5.2 Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.

5.3 All prices are in UK pounds and include Value Added Tax
6. Returns & Exchange
6.1 Once your order has been confirmed, your payment has been received and the product sent for printing and binding, we are unable to cancel an order.
Since all of our storybook albums are custom made, we do not accept returns unless there are manufacturing defects or damages in shipping. Delivery charges are refundable, where goods are faulty.

6.2 If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing within 7 working days from the day after delivery providing details of the problem, so that we may work with you to arrange a replacement or refund If you provide us with a digital photograph of the problem this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

6.3 Goods will only be accepted for return if they are despatched within 14 days of receipt of the delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise. We are unable to process your refund until we receive the product back.

6.4 Once your package has been received at Storybook Innovation, if you are entitled to a refund, in the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be credited back to your original method of payment within 28 days of receipt of the return

7. Guarantee
7.1 All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship and materials, subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.

7.2 The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Trade or Business Customers
The following conditions apply to orders placed by Business Customers such us Photographers, Designers
8.1 If we do the design, maximum number of layouts is 35 per storybook album book, which are 70 pages. We may charge you extra for more than 70 images per album.
8.2 Advance payment of £50 is required before the design process is started.
8.3 Revision/proof process includes two rounds between you and your customer and is free of charge. After that we reserved the right to charge £10 per change.

8.4 Our design templates for Photoshop are highly recommended to create correctly sized spreads if you do own design.

8.5 You are responsible to carefully check every aspect of the layouts before final approval.

8.7 As soon as the final changes are made and approved the album is sent to the print lab.

8.10 Turnaround times for complete service including delivery are about 2-3 weeks.

8.11 Our storybook albums are custom made and we do not accept returns unless there are manufacturing defects or damages in shipping. Delivery charges are refundable, where goods are faulty.

9. Liability
9.1 The products offered on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.

9.2 We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses.

10. Use of Website
10.1 You are permitted to use our website for your own purposes and to print and download material from this Website, provided that you do not modify any content without our consent. Material on this website must not be republished online or offline without our permission.

10.2 The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this website are owned by us or our licensors and must not be reproduced without our prior consent.

10.3 Subject to paragraph 7.1, no part of this website may be reproduced without our prior written permission.

11. Visitor conducts
11.1 With the exception of personally identifiable information, the use of which is covered under our Privacy Policy, any material you send or post to this Website shall be considered non-proprietary and not confidential. Unless you advise to the contrary we will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material for any and all purposes.

11.2 When using this website you shall not post or send to or from this Website any material for which you have not obtained all necessary consents, or that is discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, liable to incite racial hatred, in breach of confidentiality or privacy, which may cause annoyance or inconvenience to others, which encourages or constitutes conduct that would be deemed a criminal offence, give rise to a civil liability, or otherwise is contrary to the law in the United Kingdom.

12. Site Uptime
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that this Website is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. However, websites do sometimes encounter downtime due to server and, other technical issues. Therefore we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.

13.1 Any links to third party websites located on this Website are provided for your convenience only. We have not reviewed each third party website and have no responsibility for such third party websites or their content.
